Overview

The Journey Builder allows instructors to design customized learning pathways for students based on their account tier (Basic, Pro, or Pro_max). Each Journey can include resources like lesson plans, worksheets, quizzes, and structured tests, aligned with learner goals and assessment readiness.

What is a “Journey”?

A Journey is a curated bundle of learning and testing resources mapped to a student's learning plan. It ensures a structured experience by combining:

• Instructional content (Lesson plans, Worksheets)

• Practice materials (Quizzes)

• Evaluative tools (Structured Tests)

Journeys are organized by User Account Plan:

• Basic: Lead generation and nurturing

• Pro: Paid subscription with enhanced resources

• Pro_max: Full-feature access for advanced learners

Accessing the Journey Builder

1. Go to the your course dashboard.

2. Navigate to the “Journeys” tab.

3. It will show the already created journeys whether it is for Basic, Pro, or Pro_max users.

Step-by-Step: Creating a Journey

1. Name and Describe Your Journey

Field	Description
Journey Name	This is the public title students will see (e.g., Starter Plan Journey).
Journey Description	Add a short summary describing the focus or outcomes of this journey (e.g., Covers core algebra topics with 2 practice tests and a diagnostic).

Example: Journey Name: Math Booster – Foundations Description: A structured starter pack to strengthen core arithmetic and linear equations.

2. Select User Account Plan

Choose one of the following:

• Basic: Includes up to 5 resources, 2 practice tests, 1 structured test, 1 study plan, and 10 AI chats.

• Pro and Pro_max: You can assign unlimited resources, spaces, practice & Structured Tests.

3. Assign Learning Resources

Click on “Add Resources” to choose from available materials.

🛑 Note: For Basic Journeys, you can assign:

• 1 Structured Test

• 2 Practice Tests

• 5 Learning Resources (including worksheets & plans)

All selected resources appear under “Assigned Resources” for review.

4. Assign Practice Tests

Click “Add Practice Tests” and select from existing quizzes or diagnostic tests.

Preview metadata for each test:

• Title

• Date Created

• Created By

• Type (Quiz/Test)

Use the ➕ button to include it in the journey. You can also deselect or remove items before saving.

5. Assign Structured Tests

Structured tests are major checkpoints or mock exams used to assess a learner’s complete understanding.

• Each Basic journey is limited to 1 structured test.

• These can be filtered by subject, skill, or difficulty level.

6. Review & Save

At the final step, you’ll see a summary view of:

• Journey Name and Description

• User Account Plan

• All assigned:

  • Lesson Plans

  • Worksheets

  • Quizzes

  • Structured Tests

Click “Create” to deploy the journey.

⚠️ Once published, the journey will appear under the selected tab (Basic/Pro/Pro_max) and be available for eligible users based on their account type.

Q1. Can I reuse resources in multiple journeys? Yes. A resource can be assigned to multiple journeys across different user tiers.

Q2. Can I edit a journey after publishing it? Yes. Use the “View or Edit” button next to any journey.

Q3. Can journeys be cloned? Currently, journeys need to be manually recreated, but this feature is under consideration.
