Part 1: Critical Changes That Need Your Attention
We’ve made important structural updates to the platform. These changes are essential to know because they may affect your current links, pricing plans, and lead generation journeys. Please review carefully.
1. URL Structure Change
Who is affected: All institutes using Enabler and Growth plans.
What’s changing: The format of user-facing portal URLs is changing to a new structure:
https://myvega.ai/{organization-name}/courses/{course-name}/{inside-page}
What you need to do:
We’ll try to automatically redirect old links so nothing breaks, but please review and update any embedded portal URLs on your website once the new structure goes live.
2. Plan Consolidation
Who is affected: Any institute offering the SAT course under old plan names.
What’s changing: We are retiring the following SAT user plans:
Starter
Essential
Advanced
Going forward, every course—including SAT—will offer just two premium tiers per user, per course:

3. Diagnostic Test Selection in Journeys
What’s changing: Whenever you create a free-user journey for lead generation, you now need to assign one test as the diagnostic test.
What this enables:
A new Diagnostic Test page will appear in the user’s portal with that test.
Once the user completes the test, a personalized study plan will be auto-generated.
This helps you capture user intent early and offer value before asking them to upgrade.
Why this matters: This change makes free journeys more structured, measurable, and easier to convert into paying customers.
Part 2: New User Portal Changes
Easier Navigation, Faster Experience, and Better Engagement Across Courses
We have redesigned the user portal from the ground up to make it faster, more intuitive, and helpful for your learners. Below are all the changes you should know as an educator or admin.
1. Redesigned Homepage with AI Support
What’s new:
A simplified homepage where students can:
Access their AI Avatar, AI Agents, and chat history in one place.
Use a drag-and-drop upload section to drop homework images or PDFs and get AI-powered answers.
Why it matters: It helps students get instant support with doubts and homework in a more natural, easy-to-use interface.

2. Unified Page to Access All Courses
What’s new: Students can now see and access all their enrolled courses from one screen, without switching tabs or navigating from the top menu.
Why it matters: This eliminates confusion and improves the learning experience, especially for multi-course learners.

3. Course Content Organized in One Single Page
What’s new:
Each course page now includes:
All resources
Tests and assignments
Online classes
Analytics
The structure is organized with breadcrumbs at the top, helping students navigate between sections easily.
Why it matters: Less clicking around and faster page load makes the portal more user-friendly, especially for younger learners.

4. Learning Hub with “See All” View
What’s new:
Students can now see all structured tests, quizzes, assignments, and resources in a single table.
Status for each item is clearly marked: Available, Taken, or Missed.
Special feature for free users: Resources created by the institute are visible but locked. Clicking on them redirects users to the upgrade page—this creates awareness and prompts interest in your paid offerings.

5. Dedicated Diagnostic Test Page
What’s new:
The selected diagnostic test now appears on a dedicated Diagnostic Test page.
This structure is similar to what we used in the Digital SAT page and is now extended to all courses.
Why it matters: This ensures better visibility and higher completion rates, which lead to more accurate study plans and stronger conversion from free to paid journeys.

6. New Classes Page with Calendar View
What’s new: A new calendar-style view allows students to view and join their upcoming Zoom classes directly from their portal.
Why it matters: This gives students a clear schedule and improves class attendance.

7. Study Plan Page for All Courses
What’s new: Once a student completes their diagnostic test, they will receive a personalized study plan within their course portal—regardless of which course they are in.
Why it matters: Students can follow a clear, AI-guided path to improve, which helps them stay on track and see results faster.

8. Overview Page Added to Every Course
What’s new: Each course now has a simple Overview page that explains:
What’s inside the course
How to use the platform
What actions students should take first
Why it matters: This helps new learners quickly understand how to navigate the platform and make the most of their course.

9. New Insights Dashboard
Available for All Courses – Not Just SAT
We’ve upgraded the old Analytics Dashboard into a smarter, more powerful Insights Dashboard—and it’s now available for every course on the platform.
This dashboard helps both educators and learners track progress, identify weak areas, and take action faster.

What’s New in the Insights Dashboard
A. Quick Overview of User Activity
At the top of the Insights Dashboard, you’ll find a summary of each student’s activity:
Total number of tests taken
Total time spent practicing
Practice streak (days of consistent practice)
Number of correct answers vs. total attempted
This provides an instant snapshot of how actively a student is engaging with the course.

B. Overall Mastery Score (Per Course)
Each student now sees a single Mastery Score for every course they’re enrolled in. This score helps learners understand their overall progress.
They can also view mastery levels for individual subjects within the course (e.g., Algebra, Geometry, etc.).

C. Topic-wise Accuracy, Time Management, and Mastery
This section provides deep performance analysis for each topic based on:
Accuracy (how often they get questions right)
Time management (how efficiently they solve questions)
Mastery (overall skill strength)
It also highlights the Top 3 Areas of Improvement for each of the above, so learners know exactly what to work on next.

D. Structured Tests Analysis
Students can now view performance across all structured tests they’ve taken.
Each test appears as a bar graph
Hovering over a bar shows individual test scores
The Y-axis displays normalized scores, calculated as a percentage of the total possible score
This helps them understand which tests they performed well on and where they fell short.

E. Individual Test Reports
Every test now has a detailed report showing:
Test name, date, accuracy or score, and time spent
Filters to help locate tests quickly:
Search bar
Date filter
Test-type filter (structured vs practice)
This gives students and educators precise information for reviewing past performance.

F. AI Feedback After Every Test
After completing any test, students receive AI-generated feedback that includes:
Key areas of improvement
Actionable next steps
Tips to improve next time
This feedback helps learners know exactly what to focus on to improve scores.

Why This Matters
Helps educators track performance and guide students more effectively.
Motivates students with clear feedback and visual progress.
Works across all subjects and exams, not just SAT.
If you are an admin or instructor, encourage your students to regularly check the Insights Dashboard. It helps them stay accountable and makes your teaching more data-driven.
Part 3: Platform Changes
Backend Improvements and Admin Panel Updates You Need to Know
These changes are designed to make your work as an educator or admin more efficient. From better access controls to simpler plans and full visibility into test content and student progress—everything is now streamlined to support your workflows.
1. Plan Consolidation Across the Platform
What’s changing: We are officially retiring the old user-level SAT plans:
Starter
Essential
Advanced
From now on, all courses across the platform (not just SAT) will only offer two standardized user plans:
Pro
Pro Max
Why it matters: This makes plan selection and course creation faster, easier, and more aligned with the features you need.

2. Universal Analytics Access
What’s changing: Previously, analytics dashboards were available only for the Digital SAT course. Now, analytics are available for all courses in your organization.
Where to find it:
Admin Panel → Operations → Analytics
You can now:
View detailed student activity across all courses
Track practice time, test performance, and improvement patterns
Why it matters: It ensures every course gets the same visibility and performance tracking and not just SAT.

3. “Test-wise Analytics” Has a New Location and Easier Access
What’s changing: The Student Analytics section from the old dashboard has now been moved and renamed as Test-wise Analytics.
New location:
Admin Panel → Operations → Analytics → Test-wise Analytics
Who can access it now:
Previously, only managers or admins could see this section.
Now, even educators with standard permissions can directly access this data—no need to request higher access.
Why it matters: Educators can independently track student test results and intervene faster when needed.

4. Full-Length Digital SAT Tests Now Editable by Educators
What’s changing: All 15 full-length Digital SAT tests provided by Vega are now visible and editable by every team member.
Where to find them:
Admin Panel → Question Dashboard
You can:
Review full-length test content
Edit or fix specific questions as needed
Why it matters: You gain more control over test quality, and can align tests better with your teaching methods.
5. Diagnostic Test Requirement in Free Journeys
What’s changing: When creating any free user journey, you must assign one structured or practice test as the official diagnostic test.
Once assigned:
The test will appear on a dedicated Diagnostic Test page in the learner’s portal
Completing this test will automatically trigger a personalized study plan
Why it matters: This structure helps convert free learners into engaged users by giving them an immediate sense of direction and support.
This concludes the complete set of changes introduced to the user portal and admin platform. Let us know if you need help with:
